Last week another positive week With 6 Wins to 5 losses. Iam writing this from GDansk Poland it’s a great resort City near the Baltic Sea. If you get a chance to visit I suggest you staying near the city center it very easy to get around on foot as its a great walking city and they have Lime acooters and ubers around.
I giving the best Beat picks as the conf races are starting to take shape So i will atick with those games where I see the most value.
Tennessee at LSU +3. Pick LSU hendon hooker is great but LSU is rolling a Home game will keep them on track. Tennessee os cominf of a bye week so i dpnt ezpect them to be as sharp.
Utah at UCLA +4.5. Pick Utah they habe better roster and Overall team. Ucla is better than I thought but not ready to knock off the defending conf champs.
Texas A&M at Alabama -23.5. Pick A& M This season is a wash for A& M and For bama getting by Texas was not a fluke they will struggle and this game will be an example I expect them to win but not cover.
Purdue at Maryland -3. Pick Maryland They are the more disciplined team and have less penalties They beat minnesota.
These next Five games are my locks pf the Week Bet this first. And the others if you agree with my logic.
JMU at Arkansas St +11. Pick JMU the more disciplined team win out Ark st have 2x as many oenaltiea as JMU and Match in moat other stats. Except for wins.
Clemson at BC +20.5 Pick Clemson. Easy win the Eagkes Defense is not food enough to contain the tigers here an upset is very unlikely.
USF at Cinncinati -27.5 Pick. USF they havent loat to amy team by that much and Cinncy jasnt beaten a team by that much either. They wont win but the Bulls will cover.
Buffalo at Bowling Green st +2.5. Pick Buffalo -2.5,BG St isnt good enough to beat the Best in the MAC conf and Buffalonis showing themselves to be just that. BG did lose to am FCS school and unlike UB it wasnt a hailmary last minute play.
Texas Tech at Oklahoma St. -9.5. Pick Oklahoma St. Easy win at home for the cowboys, who are now the best chance at the big 12 being in the CFP before it expands. They should win easy as the beat baylor in waco last week and tech isnt as good.
My bonus Pick is TCU at Kansas +7. Only one of these schools expected to be here but an undedeares matchup in week 6 deaerves eyeballs great QB matchup but Kansas has the better defense by stats and an equally powerdul offense with both teams avg 400+ yards of offense but only Kansas has 60% 3rd success rate. Pick Kansas +7. That 7 points is huge amd at home they jayhawks have been lightsout.
Ans as always If it doesnt make dollars it dont make sense.

The PAC-12 is reported by CBS sports moving ahead with negotiating it’s tv deal immediately. The Pac-12 schools need academic fit and more interested viewers. These four schools Provide that and more in terms of location and other competitive advantage’s by adding them to make the conf more attractive to TV partners and also fans nationally along with maintaining access for your Conf champ to the College Football Playoff.
I have the 4 Schools they need to add to fend off the Big-12 and keep their conference alive. All these moves make sense If having a coast to coast conference also make sense. Because why, because of money that’s why.
1. Boise State. I know academically this school doesn’t fit but they draw big crowds and would give you the entire state of Idaho which has a small state popluation1.8 mill est., but a huge fan base regionally and a Great Football brand. Also a school with alot of interest from their fans as they are states pro team and they already play them on a regular basis anyway.
2. Memphis. What’s going on here you say. They are the best team left in the American/old Big East football except they win and spend on sports also In the in central time zone giving them a way to have 1pm kickoffs for their new tv partners that they desire for east coast audiences. Also Their MBB team and other teams matter another major metro market that loves CFB. Population in the metro area is 1.8 million and a top 50 media market. On the Mississippi river is close enough to the west coast.
3. SMU. A school that wants to be great and hires good coaches. Will they be competitive Most likely not for a while, a good school academically that will add Texas back in A huge market that is Dallas, TX pop. 7.75 million. Top 25 media market. Every league has bottom dweller see Rutgers and Syracuse football, but they don’t add value like an SMU would. I get they may not have the fan base of Other bigger schools in Texas are but A school in Dallas metro is worth it. Also ability to have 12pm and 1 east kick-off games. With a recruiting boost to all schools currently in the PAC-12.
4. San Diego State. Because they go low we go lower. The Chargers are gone and San Diego St can fill the space in So Cal of them losing a team to the LA area. The best CFB markets are the area’s where the college team is the pro team doesn’t exist (i.e. Austin, Baton Rouge, Tallahassee, Tuscaloosa, Arkansas) You wont steal USC fans, BUT SD state will Still give you access to So Cal recruits and A great Area for your Olympic sports aside from Colorado. Metro pop. 3.2 million
Will the Pac-12 most definitely not listen to my ideas for a myriad of reasons, but they make sense athletically and possibly academically while giving them access to potential students from as far east as Tennessee to as far south as Texas. Which should matter as well.
Will they do it, who knows, but its not the worst idea.PAC-14 Sounds better anyways.

Writing Home: This Season’s Authors Share How Travel Shaped Their Stories
Very cool article here. If you love travel like I do. You will enjoy this just for the photos.

-
Bronx.
Many People only know it for the Yankee Stadium but there are a few more key destinations to check out if you venture up North.Â
-  NY Botanical garden. The easiest way to get to the garden is the Metro North train from grand central station for about $5 round trip. Also if you have time check out the Dining options there as well.
- Giovannis. It’s great pizzeria in the south bronx with a valet parking lot if you happen to be driving a rarity in NYC. Also check on them for the weekend brunch.Â
Brooklyn
- Lakeside Skating Rink. Brooklyn is most talked about borough and one the most hipster ones as well. The Lakeside skating is one of the best things you can do if you visit New York if you are going to skate I would suggest you get there early on the weekends as lines can be insanely long and they have a good cafe on site as well.
- The Nitehawk movie theater. Great food, independent films and cheap prices and great option after the Landmark theater has closed on Houston St. It is a good alternative the Angelika film center in Manhattan which can be crowded and difficult to secure tickets.
Queens
- Studio Square. Great indoor outdoor beer garden in Astoria queens. worth a visit.
- The museum of the moving image. If you love TV and movies this is where you must visit very cool exhibits and film series all time of the year.
- Queens Comfort. Great restaurant for comfort food and this time of year its a good place visit.Â
- Creek and the Cave. A venue for comedy and events with arcade games in the basement and very reasonable bar with much lower prices.
Manhattan
- Studio Museum Harlem. Right on 7th avenue and 125th in the heart of Harlem it is nice place to start your visit to the Harlem neighborhood.
- Tenement Museum. This is a great place to go to get a feel for what NY was like 80 years ago and help understand the architecture and why NY is so densely populated by design.
- 310 Bowery bar. great bar with good homemade pizza and quality drinks great for group and large bar area.Â
- Harlem Social. nice restaurant with large bar area and music on weekends and a sidewalk cafe on the new restaurant row across from sylvia’s
- Ginn Fizz. This is one of the few uptown speakeasy’s and it what you would imagine it would be. It is a scene out of Luke Cage just on a smaller scale. Great live music venue no reservations needed but check online for the schedule before you open evenings only.
- Chocolat. My favorite place in Harlem to go for brunch and the drinks are always well made. try the upper-manhattan.
