  • NCAA Picks week 6 and The L.OW.

    Last week another positive week With 6 Wins to 5 losses. Iam writing this from GDansk Poland it’s a great resort City near the Baltic Sea. If you get a chance to visit I suggest you staying near the city center it very easy to get around on foot as its a great walking city and they have Lime acooters and ubers around.

    I giving the best Beat picks as the conf races are starting to take shape So i will atick with those games where I see the most value.

    Tennessee at LSU +3. Pick LSU hendon hooker is great but LSU is rolling a Home game will keep them on track. Tennessee os cominf of a bye week so i dpnt ezpect them to be as sharp.

    Utah at UCLA +4.5. Pick Utah they habe better roster and Overall team. Ucla is better than I thought but not ready to knock off the defending conf champs.

    Texas A&M at Alabama -23.5. Pick A& M This season is a wash for A& M and For bama getting by Texas was not a fluke they will struggle and this game will be an example I expect them to win but not cover.

    Purdue at Maryland -3. Pick Maryland They are the more disciplined team and have less penalties They beat minnesota.

    These next Five games are my locks pf the Week Bet this first. And the others if you agree with my logic.

    JMU at Arkansas St +11. Pick JMU the more disciplined team win out Ark st have 2x as many oenaltiea as JMU and Match in moat other stats. Except for wins.

    Clemson at BC +20.5 Pick Clemson. Easy win the Eagkes Defense is not food enough to contain the tigers here an upset is very unlikely.

    USF at Cinncinati -27.5 Pick. USF they havent loat to amy team by that much and Cinncy jasnt beaten a team by that much either. They wont win but the Bulls will cover.

    Buffalo at Bowling Green st +2.5. Pick Buffalo -2.5,BG St isnt good enough to beat the Best in the MAC conf and Buffalonis showing themselves to be just that. BG did lose to am FCS school and unlike UB it wasnt a hailmary last minute play.

    Texas Tech at Oklahoma St. -9.5. Pick Oklahoma St. Easy win at home for the cowboys, who are now the best chance at the big 12 being in the CFP before it expands. They should win easy as the beat baylor in waco last week and tech isnt as good.

    My bonus Pick is TCU at Kansas +7. Only one of these schools expected to be here but an undedeares matchup in week 6 deaerves eyeballs great QB matchup but Kansas has the better defense by stats and an equally powerdul offense with both teams avg 400+ yards of offense but only Kansas has 60% 3rd success rate. Pick Kansas +7. That 7 points is huge amd at home they jayhawks have been lightsout.

    Ans as always If it doesnt make dollars it dont make sense.

  • NCAAF Week 5 picks and LOW

    I went 13-13 last week. Quite a few upsets and Mid majors covering Spreads. I wont be posting as many games this week but I will be giving the best out of all games I have Studied and handicapped.

    15 Washington 4-0 at UCLA 4-0 +3; Pick: Washington Huskies. UCLA has had easy comp so far and barely got by a buy game with South Alabama who the worst team in the Sun Belt.

    4 Michigan 4-0 at Iowa 3-1 +10.5. Iowa’s biggest win is at Rutgers by 17 pts the best offense they showed. Michigan is the top of the league and has a better offense than Iowa st. Pick Michigan.

    Purdue 2-2 at 21 Minnesota 4-0 -12.5. Pick: Minnesota. Easy win here for the gophers at home Purdue is avg team and Minnesota still has a great RB and tanner Morgan is clicking on offense.

    7 Kentucky 4-0 at 14 Mississippi 4-0 -7. Kentucky beat Florida in the swamp who has better QB than Ole Miss. Will Levis shine in this game. The toughest game Mississippi had was against Tulsa. Pick: Kentucky

    Temple 2-2 at Memphis 3-1 -18.5. Temple is righting the ship and will cover this spread. Pick: Temple

    22 Wake Forest 3-1 at 23 Florida St.4-0. Wake FOrest has a great offense and almost beat a very good Clemson squad. FSU has talent but I don’t believe in their QB. Pick: Wake Forest

    Iowa St 3-1 at Kansas +3 4-0. Kansas is getting points at home and Iowa ST is good but not great. Kansas has been tested on the road and at home. I’m riding the hot hand here. Pick: Kansas.

    Rutgers 3-1 at 3 Ohio st 4-0 -39.5, Ohio ST didn’t beat Wisconsin by 39 and Rutgers is on par with them in terms of skill and execution. Pick: Rutgers to cover but lose by 28.

    Georgia Tech 1-3 at 24 Pittsburgh 3-1 -22; GT just fired their HC in year 4 Pitt has a real shot at winning the ACC again this year. Pick Pittsburgh.

    Troy 2-2 at Western Kentucky-5 3-1,. WKU dropped 73 points on a team the offensive system is very strong and they don’t overlook anyone because they cant afford to. expect another big win for the hilltoppers. Pick: Western Kentucky.

    Georgia Southern 3-1 at Coastal Carolina-9.5 4-0, I like coastal at home but them laying Buffalo so close 2 weeks ago let me know how little margin for error they have. Ga Southern Eagles have beaten Nebraska Straight up and looked in control doing it and have a great QB Theses teams know each other well. It will be within a one score game. Pick: Georgia Southern.

    And as always if it doesn’t make $$$ it don’t make sense.

  • NCAA Week 4 & L.O.W.

    Week 3 was a down one we went 9-12 out of 21 games. I was unable to finish the column and place my bets before I could get them in. SO more games is answer this week.

    The 3 most interesting games coming up Duke at Kansas 9n FS1 both are 3-0 and this is not a college basketball game either. Then we have two undefeated top 25 teams with 5 Clemson at 21 Wake forest on ABC. Last we have 7th Ranked USC at Oregon state who is also 3-0. On the Pac-12 network which is hard to get without some extended sports package which is part of the downfall of the PAC-12 Network.

    (5)Clemson at (21)Wake Forest +7.0. I’m picking Wake because I want them to win. Pick: Wake Forest. Home field advantage but they have the smallest stadium in the money Conf.

    Iowa St. vs (17)Baylor +3. Baylor are still possible Big 12 champs and Iowa St. are not Iowa St. is not a tough place to play. Pick: Baylor.

    Duke at Kansas -7.5. My favorite new Kansas steamrolling the BIG-10. Kansas.

    Maryland at (4) Michigan -16.5. Pick: Michigan. maryland is good but they aren’t at Michigan’s level yet.

    Central Michigan at (14)Penn St. -28. Penn St easy win lock it in. LOW of the week. Pick: Penn St.

    Kent St at (1) Georgia -45.5. Pick:Georgia I cant believe the line isn’t -65.

    Missouri at Auburn -7. Bryan Harsin is coaching for his job. and Missouri is not very good and I think a win by a TD is not to much of a reach. Pick: Auburn.

    TCU at SMU +2. the iron skillet is a great rivalry. I liek SMU because they are home. Pick: SMU.

    Notre Dame at North Carolina -1.5. UNC is trash at defense and its the one thing notre dame is great at. Pick: Notre Dame.

    Middle Tenn St. at (25)Miami -26.5. Miami in a landslide. Pick: Miami.

    Minnesota at Michigan St. +3. Pick Minnesota. The offensive performance was lacking from Mich St.

    (20)Florida at (11)Tennessee -10.5. Tennessee will put up teh most points and will outscore Florida who are a year away from really being a top 10 ten. Pick Tennessee.

    (22)Texas at Texas Tech -6.5. Texas tech is mid. Texas is back baby This game is an easy cover even with the small rivalry between these two schools with Texas leaving to the SEC. Pick: Texas.

    Indiana at Cincinnati -16.5. Pick: Cinncy. Indiana is not good and Cinncy still is

    James Madison at Appalachian State -7. Great matchup between 2 schools will both have winning records. Pick App ST.

    (15)Oregon at Washington St +6.5. Pick: Washington St Oregon is good but I dont think they cover on the road the pull out close one for team that has great home field advantage.

    Tulsa at (16)Mississippi -21.5. im Taking Tulsa to many pts for an Ole Miss that not that talented. Pick Tulsa.

    No. Illinois at (8)Kentucky -25.5. No. Illinois has dropped a few games they could have won Kentucky looks like the only team is the SEC east who will give Georgia an actual competitive game. Pick: Kentucky

    (10) Arkansas at (23)Texas A&M -1.5. Arkansas is the better team and have better talent upfront on the o line which is where they will win. Pick: Arkansas.

    Uconn at (12)NC State -39. NC State is gonna beat the breaks off UCONN who just got shut out by Michigan and have scored 17 pts all season. Pick: NC state.

    Wisconsin at (3) Ohio St -19. Wisconsin lost to Wazzo at home and Ohio St just dropped 77 on a FBS school. Pick: Ohio St.

    Vanderbilt at (2) Alabama -40.5. Vanderbilt is 3-1 but they lost by 20 pts to Wake Forest who are and Bama is great. Pick: Alabama

    Kansas St at (6) Oklahoma -13. Sooner will roll Kansas St is a solid team but Oklahoma is better 13 isn’t alot for them to cover. Pick: Oklahoma

    (7) USC at Oregon St +6.5. Oregon st is good team and USC is having their first real road test in Corvalis against the Beavers who will be ready for this with chance to knock off a new Big 10 . winning is what matters and I think USC may be looking past the Beavers who have beaten Boise St an very good Fresno team in Fresno. Pick: Oregon St.

    Wyoming at (19)BYU -22.5. Easy win for the Y disappointment last week, but Wyoming did lose to Illinois 38-6 but have won all their home games. Pick: BYU.

    (13) Utah at Arizona St. -14.5. Utah is great ASu just lost there head coach so expect them to lay down before they fall down. Pick: Utah

    Stanford at (18) Washington -14. Stanford disappointed last week at home against USC so I have little faith that they will stop a team the blew Michigan St out of the water. Pick: Washington.

    Buffalo @ Coastal Carolina -12.5. Pick Buffalo +12.5 the line has moved since it opened so Im taking my bulls to cover on the coastal is good but these teams played a very close game last aeason and Buffalo is greatly imprpved on offense drom last. Expect the same this year. Pick Buffalo

    New Mexico St at Wisconsin -37.5. Simce the badgers lost week expect to come out and poat a shutout they will score about 8 rushing Tds and NM state Is a decent team but no match for The Badgers at home. Pick Wisconsin.

    Miami at Texas A&M -5.5 pick Miami. I have no faith in a A& M team that cant run against APP st thatblgave up 63 to UNV at home.

    Rutgers at Temple +18.5. Pick Rutgers . temple is having a down year look at theor past results.

    California at Notre Dame -12.5. Cal stinks and Notre dame is playing dor the season and their own pride. Pick Notre Dame.

    Tulane at Kansas St. -14. A rare undefeated match up of two very dofferenr programs as good as Tulane has been this will show us who they are. We know K state is Good at home. Pick Kansas St.

    Colorado at Missouri -27.5. Mizzo os better than Colorado But I dont see this old rivalry game Being this far apart as mizzou got blown out last week at K state. Pick Colorado +27.5

    Vanderbilt at Northern Illinois -2.5. Vanderbilts only winnis over Hawai’i who is dreadful. Pick Northen Illinois -2.5

    12 BYU at Oregon 25 -3.5 this is big for both teqms after The Y beat Baylor at home in OT they are close to working there way into the top 10 and giving them selves a shot at the CFP ths year as Best independant school but they need to run the table to do it. Oregon is rebuilding after last years 9-3 Squad. Pick bYu. The Y wins agains this time on the road they have the better QB and think he rises to the occassion again.

    22 Penn St at Auburn +2.5 both team are undefeated and the Auburn fans will be judging their coqch bryan Hairaton on this game and I dont thinl he will disapoint. Penn St soesnt habe elite Skill players Auburn doea and they have the better o line as well. Pick Auburn.

    Kansas at Houston -8.5 over 58.5. I will be watching this closely as these 2 schools will be in the same conf next year and likely the next decade. Kansas juat beat West Virginia in Morgantown and look to be 3-0 for the first time since 93. Houston lost in ot last week after their defense Failed to hold onto a lead with under 1 min left. At texas tech. Pick Kansas.

    Liberty at 19 Wake Forest -17. Pick WAke Forest They will enter their conf schedule unbeaten and likley wont lose until they face Clemson and evsn then im not sure they lose. Liberty has talent but not enough to win here. Pick Wake Forest.

    Marshall at Bowling Green +17 marshall has Alot of P5 transfera and a fice star RB who ran all ovdr a talented Notre Dame team. Nowling green has a soft defense. I fully expect marshall to roll in a game between these 2 former conference foes. Pick Marshall.

    Colorado St at Washington St. Wazzou wins big big. They will enter Pac 12 play undefeated. I just hope they End the year the same way. Pick Washington St.

    Mississippi St at LSU +3 . this line says alot of what people think about LSU but they have talent here to win home game against Miss St. Pick LSU.

    Toledo at 3 Ohio St -31.5. This will be Ohio Sstates best in state opponent for a while they will have to face. Im taking toldeo to cover yhe 31.5. As I dont think Ohio st will blow them out past 4 tds which is enough. Pick Toledo Cover +31.5

    SMU at Maryland -2.5 SMU is going tonenter AAC olay undedeared and likely get an Invite to the PAC-12 so they get a piece of texas dor recruiting and To improve they Next deal. Maryland didnt look thatbatrong againat Buffalo and SMU is way better than them. Pick SMU +2.5

    11 Michigan At at Washington -3.5 I believe washington is the better team and Will comfortable at home againat a very good michigan St team. Pick Washington -3.5

    South Florida at 18 Florida -23.5 usf only has beaten howard and lost to kemtucky by 29 this will go the same way for them. Pick Florida +23.5

    UCF at FAU +7.5 UCF will roll here FAU is good but this is not an instate rivalry expect the Central Florida to win easy on the road here. Pick UCF.

    Fresno St. At 7 USC -11.5 this is Fresno st. Super Bowl They almost beat a good Oregon State team. Expect a very close game pick Fresno State.

    San Diego st at 14 Utah -21. I expect Utah to keep the win train rolling here better overall team and better coached team. SD state may join in the conference in the future they arent at the level now except in basketball. Pick UTAH -21.

    Memphis at Navy +4. Navy just lost to GCS delaware at home 14-7 easy for memphis take this win down by a td. Pick Memphis -4.

    Maryland at Charlotte +26.5. Charlotte has lost FAU and William & Mary Tribe this is a mortal lock pick Maryland to cover by 35-0

    Iowa St at Iowa -3.5 iowa scores pts without a td they must have a horrid o line and dline. This year is result players not going there because of who the HC. Pick Iowa St.

    Hawai’i at 4Michigan -51.5 michigan will shut them out after giving up 63 to vamderbilt Hawai’i will not cross the 50 yard oine expect McCarthy to throw 5 tds pick Michigan lock it up.

    Southern Miss at 15 Miami -26.5. They will roll this is not test miami just another warm before nthe season starts.Pick Miami -26.5.

    23 Wake Forest at Vanderbilt +13.5 wake forest has there starting QB back. Pick Wake Forest.

    Akron ar 14Michigan St -34.5. Akron barely beat an FCS Squad go with michigan St easy win. Pick Michigan State.

    Kent St at 7Oklahoma -33.5. Oklahoma let utep stay within 32 and Kent stayed within 24pts of Washington. Pick Kent st to cover.

    20 Kentucky at 12Florida -6. I believe in florida ronwin at home td after beating future pac -12 champs uta Anthony Richardson is the right QB and they have the right coach in place.Pick Florida.

    9 Baylor at 21BYU -2.5. I believe in BYU Baylor has a great coach but graduated alot of talent BYU has an alot of 5 and 6th year players and the experience upfront will help. Baylor also ran for 9 tds that will not be repeated. Pick BYU -2.5.

    Arizona State at 11Oklahoma St -11.5 I dont believe The Cowboys will cover ASU isnt that bad and will be able to hang for while. Pick Arizona St.

    10 USC at Stanford +8.5 i would like ronaee standord beat USC because there offense is great but defense not ao much. Home means little and Students arent back yet. Pick USC.

    25 Houston at Texas tech -4. Houston is the best G5 tram this before they move to the Big 12 and if they can run the table this year it would give them a great shot at the CFP. Pick Houston.

    Syracuse at UCONN +23.5 uconn is awful and cuse beat louisville. The orangemen will roll on the Huskies. Pick Syracuse.

    Old dominion at East Carolina -13.5 pick Old Domion if they can upset Vtech they can play a close game with ECU. Pick Old Dominion to cover.

    Boston College at Virginia Tech -2.5 comsidering they blew that game last week against Rutgers. BC will bounce back againat an old foe in V tech who also lost Old Dominion. Pick BC +2.5

    Kansas at West Virginia -13.5. I believe that Kansas will be improved year over year after beating texas last aeason neal browns squad wont be ready for this adter an emotional loss to Pitt in the backyard brawl. Pick kansas +13.5

    Charlotte @ FAU -7.5 over under 59. I am a huge fan of this over both Teams are food on offense and being a Week 0 conference game expect sloppy Defense and alot of pts

    Last pick and not least we have North Texas Mean Green ar Utep -1.5 in the Beautiful Stadium. Im gonna favor Utep as the Played well last year and return alot of players this game is 9pm EST kickoff. So I will parlay this with The Hawai’i game.
