Robert Saleh was fired because he was too nice. He was buddies with the players and he did not hold players accountable. Aaron Rodgers brought it up the accountability last week after the Jets loss to the Broncos and then this week after they loss to the Vikings accountability was again brought up this time by Quincy Williams. Guys need to be held accountable and Saleh did not do it. On thing with the Jets they have been heavily penalized these past four years. Against the Vikings the Jets gave up 100 yards in penalties. 100 free yards. 

So was it the Egyptian trip, Saleh hug push, Cadence gate, what will the media push out there. Did the players lost respect for Robert the head coach? I don’t know but that something I will be looking to see if that is what the media brings up. 

“This is probably the best team I’ve had in 25 years,” Johnson said on a conference call with reporters. To me this is an old man looking at the end and he wants to go out on top. To me Woody is a moron and he needs to sell the team. This team is one game out of first place in the division. You don’t fire your coach being 2-3. This was a clownish move. I am pissed off with this move, I hope it works but a dummy with money just made a football decision with no ideal what he is doing. Woody Johnson making a decision is like giving a seven year old a hammer and tell that child to build an Ikea table. 

Firing Robert Saleh does not fix the offense and no team has ever gotten to the playoffs after firing their head coach. For anyone betting, I would not advised to bet the Jets to make the playoffs but if you want to play the odds than more power to you. Good Luck to Jeff Ulbrich against the Bills and for the rest of the year, The only time this man was a head coach was during the Senior Bowl last year.

I hate any version of this saying but it’s true every day.  “That’s why they are the Jets”
