I have always said the best way to test your self against the quality of an opponent is to buy into a cash game with minimum but leave with the biggest stack at the table. I did just that this past saturday, but was unable toget past $ 200 in a $2-$5 at tropicana in AC which where i play alot of live poker events due to the high badbeat jackpot which is at $267,000. I was able to play more hands than usualbecause thay had been playing very tight at a short handed table and was able to take control of low pots with medium strength hands and all-in bets of only $50-$85. I think the tightness of the other players play allowed for me to expose this hole in the table and play small pots and then isolate against players, thinking I was willing to bluff with a small stack. This style of play my not be possible at all times but i think it tests your patience as poker player and makes you a better player by forcing to you read other players hands better.
