    San Francisco @ Seattle -3. I dont get how this is this close of a line with How seattle has been playing and their recent defensive additions on the DL with Carlos Dunlap a local story here about how they Feel about him leaving. He will definitely help fill a big need and he has alot to prove. The Niners are just plan and simple running out of Bodies in certain positions and Aiyuk the Rookie WR is the main WR behind Little. Pick: Seahawks a$20 bill will get you 300 on this bet in a far sports book.

    Canelo Alavarez held titles in the 3 different weightclasses across the WBO and WBA. The middleweight, Super-Middleweight and Light Heavyweight at the same damn time. He has volutarily given up the WBO title light heavy weight titke he earned by KO the Krusher Kovalev himself. My only regret in this is that Andre Ward will not Face Canelo in what would a be a massive fight at either super middle or Light heavyweight.

    Canelo does gain the right that waa given to him by the WBO to Be a manadatory challenger in any weight class he wants to fight in. This does ensure a deal to see the middleweight titles to be unified to if he choose to challenge Billy Joe Saunders and Add to his legacy.

    A federal jury found Dawkins and Code guilty of bribing college basketball coaches to steer players to their budding management firm.

    Somehow the coaches in all of this have gotten scott free although they are fully complicit in tue fraud that was attempted by the evil sneaker middle man merl code and Promising sports agent Christina dawkins. Who spelled out what really happened in the paying recruits and their families which the FBI wanted to go to the coaches in ncaa basketball.

    The system is built to protet itself. This will not lead to any meaningful change in recruiting and may only make the strong stronger in Arizona and Others top programs getting recruits because they haven’t been tainted by this investigation and the NCAA enforcement have no real interest in gettong to the bottom of this, because then there biggest money maker becomes tainted by a scandal the people who watch on tv and buy tickets to games don’t seem to care about.

    And as always if itt doesn’t make dollars it dont makw sense.

    This is a monumental shift toward free market participation at all levels of basketball. This will allow more financial equity from the players in their careers and encourage players to embrace the college experience and stay longer than the current one and done cycle.

    This will may not really change the immediate but I do believe after the recent paying for recruits scandal mostly african American players from middle and low income homes.

    With the ever widening gap between the middle class in america. The detractors may say this will widen the gap between the big and small programs this will not affect that as Creighton and Others were accused of being being willing to pay as much as 60k for a top recruit.

    1.Bruce pearl will be fired as Auburns head coach.

    2. GeorgeTown will beat Creighton and St Johns this Season and finish 5th in the conference.

    3. 4 top 25 teams will take self bans from the Postseason leading the way for Deserving mid-majors A-10, Mt West, MAC and C-USA conference schools.

    4. The American Conference will more Tournament teams than the PAC-12.

    5. The U will have top 10 teams in basketball and football in New years day.

    6. The SEC will disappoint this year due to the investigation into to paying top players.

    7. there will be no undefeated teams after 9 games. to much parity now.

    The cumulative pay for all the coaches of public Universities and colleges on the list is  $275,550,213 only 9 school do not report the head coaches salary. Army, Baylor, Brigham Young, Miami (Fla.), Southern California, Syracuse, Temple, Tulane are the only schools do not release those numbers. I find it interesting that out of all of this money being paid out to the coaches none can be allowed to go to the players due to the amateurism rules Set by the NCAA.

    The main reason of which were created to prevent players from suing schools if the became seriously injured while playing as was the case in the 1950’s. Eventually this will have to cease as the profits continue to rise. even in the group of 5 five schools as they begin to fill stadiums and bring a culture of football to their schools and get bigger TV deals.

    #10 Oklahoma St. (-7.0) over TEXAS. Texas is a washed this season.

    Buffalo (+3.0) over MIAMI OHIO. Buffalo has come alive and Ohio Miami is terrible.

    Central Mich (-2.5) over BALL ST. CMU is light years better than Ball state.

    #20 UCF (-7.5) over NAVY. UCF needs to stay undefeated to get in the CFP and I think they can Navy is tough, just not so much on the football field.

    #19 Michigan (+9.5) over #2 PENN ST. Michigan will shock everyone and win. This change CFP and add to an already crazy season where the experts know nothing.

    #11 USC (+3.5) over #13 NOTRE DAME. USC has the better team and faster offense. Easy win here.

    #4 TCU (-38.5) over Kansas. Kansas is a 🏀 school and this is a football game. TCU by a country mile.

  • NBA Win Total Predictions

    The Westgate Las Vegas Super Book has released its over/under for win totals predictions for all 30 NBA teams in the 2017-18 season.

    Last year’s NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, open with the highest total at 67.5. The Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers are second in the Eastern Conference with a 53.5 total Although this was released prior to the Dwayne wade signing to the CAVS. Also the OKC Thunder had not yet added Carmelo Anthony to their roster as well as of the releasing of these win totals.

    EASTERN CONFERENCE (as of 8-30-17)

    Boston Celtics 56.5. I would take the under here. Not due to the talent but more to do with team chemistry and they lost a lot of defensive players their team defense will be tested every game agianst western conference opponents.

    Cleveland Cavaliers 53.5. With the additions of Derek Rose and Dwayne Wade I don’t see another team touching the level of play this team will bring all year.

    Toronto Raptors 48.5

    Milwaukee Bucks 47.5

    Washington Wizards 47.5

    Miami Heat 43.5

    Philadelphia 76ers 42.5

    Detroit Pistons 38.5

    Orlando Magic 33.5

    Charlotte Hornets 42.5. Should exceed this amount of wins. The team lacked a quality Center and W/ Dwight Howard now there.

    Indiana Pacers 31.5. Should be way over the win total here as  the Pacers have a lot of young talent but no true point guard.

    New York Knicks 30.5. Still developing team Should win the same amount of games as last season (32) in a weakened east conference.  The Knicks have ability on offense but no quality rim protector but better perimeter defense should help them maintain the same level and a much improved offense.

    Brooklyn Nets 28.5.  I am Still unsure if this team can improve on last season they seem to more on offense but lost a quality center. I would take the over although the temptation to tank may be strong in Brooklyn.

    Atlanta Hawks 25.5. The over here (FTW= for the win). without Howard they lose on defense but they still have quality guards and some young Big men who can run the floor well.

    Chicago Bulls 21.5. Easily the least experienced team in the east with the least amount of experienced talent. This Bulls team could lose a record amount of games due to a bad bench and lack of veterans.

    WESTERN CONFERENCE (as of 8-30-17)

    Golden State Warriors 67.5

    Houston Rockets 55.5. Take the under here too much change over from last year to this one. Two very ball dominant guards will make it tough for this team to gel and every other team in the conference has improved here. I also worry about about injuries and overuse.

    San Antonio Spurs 54.4

    Oklahoma City Thunder 51.5. This team can win 54-60 games if their can share the ball. They have to much all-star talent and perimeter defense to allow winning less than 54 games.

    Minnesota Timberwolves 48.5. Can be a 50 win team. Should definitely take the over here too much young talent to be stopped should be able to close out close games this year which was problem last season. very close to being a push at 48 on the dot.

    Denver Nuggets 45.5

    Los Angeles Clippers 43.5. This is a 45 to 50 win team here good defensive guards and quality defensive bigs who can run and score from inside and outside. a faster team paced team without Chris Paul, The ball should move quicker around the floor.

    Portland Trail Blazers 42.5

    Utah Jazz 40.5. This has a guard problem or a lack of a good one. I would take the under although Milsap will help on defense the guard play will suffer this season in PG given league.

    New Orleans Pelicans 39.5

    Memphis Grizzlies 37.5

    Dallas Mavericks 35.5

    Los Angeles Lakers 33.5. Slightly over on this team only because the Guards here are good but a rookie PG who is pass first will make mistakes but he is an elite talent enough so that they traded an overall #1 pick. should be close to 40 wins in range of 34-39 wins.

    Sacramento Kings 28.5

    Phoenix Suns 28.5

  • NCAA Week 7 Picks

    TEMPLE (-10.0) over Connecticut. Uconn’s only win is over an FCS school. They are so bad the should consider either dropping FBS football or getting a bigger name coach to attract better recruits on par with Temple and Navy. Temple rolls in this semi rivalry game. This game is the LOCk of the Week PICK.

    #6 TCU (-4.5) over KANSAS ST. TCU will run wild here they know this team will and i can see them winning here by at least 10 points. K state is a ways away from being good enough to knock off the best of the Big 12 at home. TCU can win out here and go on to the CFP. I like their odds given their defense and Oklahoma’s inconsistent play.

    #12 Oklahoma (-7.5) over TEXAS. Texas is still rebuilding, this will be another bad day for coach Herman. Oklahoma is more talented ,and they know to stay on track for a national title they need a win here, and a dominating would impress voters before the first CFP poll. little fact Oklahoma has won 6 of the last 9 games.

    Toledo (-7.5) over CENTRAL MICH. Toledo is the best team in the MAC this year. Central Michigan is at home but I don’t think it will be enough. Win Rockets.

    #10 Auburn (-6.0) over LSU.  Auburn needs a win here to continue a surprise season and stay undefeated and continue on to bigger match up with Alabama

    Houston (-13.0) over TULSA. Houston is great again this year after Herman has moved on to a bigger check and honestly I’m not sure Texas would beat Houston this season if they met up in a bowl game. Which would be awesome (no brand name bias here) you show your work in this class to get credit. Tulsa got rocked by Tulane 62-28 after being road favorites. So this would shock me to see them win here or cover.

    Texas A&M (+3.0) over FLORIDA. Florida is not trending in the right direction and i believe Coach Sumlin will get to 9 or 10 wins. I don’t know if that will save his job after all the early chatter but this game will be a Win for the Aggie’s. also note that Florida is has used 4 QB’s this season and has lost a lot of talented players to suspension and injury and I don’t know after last weeks showing against LSU if they can Stop A&M at all I would go money line here and see if you can get better odds on that as road team.
